Ceramic pro can be installed at any point during a car’s lifespan. Ceramic coating protects vehicles from environmental factors that can cause long-lasting damage to their exterior. Sometimes people confuse ceramic coating with clear bra but these are two entirely different elements. The ceramic coating is a semi-permanent premium wax alternative that is comprised of a liquid polymer that is applied by hand to the exterior of the vehicle.

This liquid polymer will chemically bond with the vehicle’s factory paint and will establish a protective layer. Ceramic coating does not wash away or break down; it also does not require reapplication every few months. Your Tesla S and any other vehicle is susceptible to the natural damage that the suns UV rays can cause. UV ray damage often results in the fading of the paint which can leave some areas looking lighter than others.  Oxidization from chemicals in the atmosphere can also cause etching to your paint.

Ceramic coating helps to create a chemically resistant surface that will prevent outside factors from bonding with your vehicles paint. An application of ceramic coating will make your car more resilient to these damaging factors and easier to clean. One of the most notable features of ceramic coating is the fact that it is hydrophobic; this simply means that repels water. Water will bead on the surface of your vehicle and easily slide right off. This feature is also beneficial for mud and grime. These contaminants will also roll off of your car without bonding to the car’s surface. In some cases, severe mud and grime will stick to the ceramic coating but a standard wash will easily remove them.

The difference between the ceramic coating and a clear bra is durability and protection. The clear bra is a strong application that will safeguard your automobile from scratches and minor damage. Ceramic coating is a semi-permanent application that will safeguard your car from exterior fading caused by the sun and environmental factors. Ceramic coating will also make maintaining your car easier.  Both of these products are highly beneficial for your vehicle and will establish an added monetary value to it but they are two entirely different types of exterior protection. You should have your ceramic pro installed by a trained professional to ensure that it is applied properly.

Tesla Car Wrap can help install Ceramic pro, the installation can take anywhere from one to five days to have installed on your vehicle.  Your installation technician will evaluate the quality of the existing exterior and be able to quote you a more precise installation time as well as the cost for the ceramic coating installation package that you select.

Customize your car:

People have been personalizing and customizing their cars for, well, as long as there have been cars—and one of the newest and coolest ways is with vinyl wrapping. If you’re already thinking about how your vehicle will be transformed when you shrink-wrap it in an entirely new color, then the next step is understanding what that might cost—and whether the price is worth it.

That’s where we can help. Vinyl wraps have some distinct advantages over repainting your vehicle, and also a couple of disadvantages worth considering. Here’s what you need to know about wrapping your car—including how much it costs.

  • Caring for Vinyl Films
    • You would want to care for your vinyl wrap on the vehicle the same way as for your car paint. Hand washing is always the best and safest choice! Only touchless car washes are recommended. Car washes that have the rotating brushes may lift and remove the vinyl! For best cleaning and maintaining of the finish as well as protecting against fading we recommend using our wrap care products.
